Scaling and Root Planing

Scaling and root planing is a procedure involving removal of plaque and (scaling or debridement) and then smoothing, or planing, of the surfaces of the roots, removing or dentine that is impregnated with calculus, toxins, or microorganisms.

    Everything has been explained very nicely here. I also am thinking to visit my professional family dentist Redondo Beach for my regular checkup. I haven’t been regular with my dental care routine so there is some sort of sensitivity sometimes so I hope that nothing serious is going on!
